Andrea’s professional background spans a vast range of healthcare, including bedside care as a Physical Therapist, marketing various health care organizations and Regional Administration for a leading Medicare provider. Andrea started her career in Philadelphia working in the Health Care arena where she fell in love with Home Care. Andrea has dedicated her whole life to providing quality care for the sick, frail and elderly.
These experiences led Andrea to her passion. Disheartened by the level of care available in South Florida, she set out to design and develop a Private Home Health Care company that would greatly raise the bar on the quality of the local home health care available in the area.
Now celebrating 20 years as an industry leader, Horizon Care Services, Inc. was opened in 2004 and has continued to grow and develop into the successful integrated health care delivery model it is today. Horizon Care Services remains dedicated to critical care at home, chronic disease management, and actively supporting the initiative to reduce hospital readmissions.
Andrea has recently launched 2 additional companies that support the needs of the South Florida community. Horizon Mobile Physician Services is dedicated to providing timely medical services to a patient’s location, whether in the home or alternative living facility. From primary care to transitional care to chronic care management, Horizon Mobile Physician Services paves the way for patients to get quality care directly to their location.
Additionally, Andrea’s passion for assisting the elderly navigate the most important transition of their lives; finding the perfect place to spend their final years. Elder Care Finders is rapidly becoming a preferred senior placement agency in south Florida by expertly guiding patients and clients through an otherwise difficult process.
In addition to the dedication to provide the highest quality health care to her patients and their families, and the partnership and support of her fellow health care providers, Andrea continues her philanthropic support to many local organizations and charities including TrustBridge Hospice Foundation, Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, Executive Women of The Palm Beaches Foundation, Impact of the Palm Beaches, and the Hanley Foundation.
